The stores look full and the inventory value is high. Yet when a critical machine stops, the part that is needed is missing, obsolete, mis-coded or still on a long import lead time—while shelves hold years of slow-moving items that never touch a breakdown.
The line is ready, but BIS certification delays caused by test failures, documentation gaps and incorrect standard mapping can postpone commercial launches and leave inventory waiting.
The renewable power allocation or PPA is in place. The project narrative looks strong. Yet the schedule still slips—because the plant cannot move from power commitment to a buildable site with water, evacuation, storage and logistics that match the process.
Civil work starts on a plant expansion or greenfield site. Contractors mobilise labour, and the project treats labour compliance as a contractor-only issue.
Stores hold filters, seals, bearings and control cards “for the critical line.” A modification replaced the pump model, changed the drive or upgraded the panel years ago.
Long-lead equipment is on the critical path. Procurement wants the purchase order released. The layout is “mostly agreed,” with a few open points to close later.
Counters tick. HMIs show status. A dashboard lights up green and red. At the daily meeting, the question is the same: why did we lose output yesterday?
The district has surplus crop residue, dung or press mud on paper. The CBG plant is designed for a steady daily intake. After commissioning, trucks arrive irregularly, moisture and contamination swing, prices spike in lean months, and digester loading falls below design.
The role is open. Profiles look suitable. Shortlists exist. Yet weeks pass before an offer goes out, and strong candidates drop away or accept elsewhere. The plant still runs short-handed. Overtime rises. Projects slip.
The CAPA file is closed. Actions are signed off. Training is recorded. A few weeks or months later, the same defect, deviation or complaint returns.
