U4GM Explains Landmark Upgrades in Monopoly GO

You'll notice that landmark upgrades do more than change the skyline in Monopoly GO! They also add houses to your property spaces, which can eventually become hotels and improve rent rewards. That makes building useful even before you finish a location. Rewards earned through activities such as the Monopoly Go Partners Event can help support that progress when they include cash or dice. Still, houses aren't the completion target. Your job is to finish every landmark upgrade on the current board, so keep checking the build screen instead of judging progress by how busy your properties look.

Make your dice last

Cash comes from moving around the board, and railroad spaces are especially useful because they trigger shutdowns or vault raids. During a raid, you reveal hidden symbols and collect a payout based on the matching set you uncover. A higher roll multiplier can increase rewards, but it also spends more dice each time. Don't turn it up just because a railroad looks close. Dice outcomes are uncertain, and an expensive run can empty your supply quickly. Use smaller rolls when you're short on dice, then consider higher settings when several event objectives reward the same landing spaces.

Check what your next upgrade costs

Open the build menu before you start spending. Each location has five landmarks, and all of them need their available construction stages completed before you can move on. Early purchases may feel affordable; later upgrades usually demand more cash. That's where players sometimes lose track of the goal. A new building looks like progress, but an unfinished structure still needs attention. Compare the remaining prices and work out what your current balance covers. If you can finish the board in one session, it's worth considering, since holding a large cash balance leaves it exposed to other players' raids.

Protect the progress you've paid for

Landmarks can take damage from shutdowns, so repairs may become another expense on the way to completion. Keep an eye on your shields while you play. They help protect your structures, although they won't last forever if other players keep attacking. There's no need to chase every upgrade immediately, either. Check whether a building reward event is active and read its conditions before spending. Sometimes the same purchase can move your board forward and earn an extra reward. Just avoid waiting so long that repeated losses cost more than the reward you hoped to collect.

Finish the board and prepare for the next

Once every landmark reaches its required upgrade level, you complete the location and receive the rewards shown in the game. Then the next board gives you another set of structures to fund. If you're considering an offer to buy cheap Monopoly Go Partners Event support, check exactly what the offer includes before spending. Your everyday progress still depends on managing dice, collecting cash, and completing upgrades. Keep those priorities clear, and each new location becomes easier to plan around.
